Matthew Resendez’s simple act of kindness at a Burger King in Texas has warmed hearts across social media. When a homeless man entered with only 50 cents, Matthew asked what he’d like without cost being an issue. The man replied, “Anything.”
Matthew used his own debit card to purchase a meal for the man, inviting him to sit and enjoy. A witness, moved by the gesture, left a $100 tip for Matthew. His proud mother, Michelle Resendez, shared the story on Facebook, where it quickly went viral.
