Tiffany Floyd’s quick stop at a Burger King in Western New York turned disturbing when her 4-year-old daughter complained about “ketchup” on her kid’s meal. Floyd said in a TikTok video, “Today I went to Burger King by my house,” and soon after handing over the meal, her daughter said, “Mom, I don’t want ketchup.”
Floyd noticed something was wrong when she saw “blood all over” the food after inspecting the bag. Initially mistaking it for ketchup, she realized it was blood after her daughter had already eaten some French fries and a bite of the cheeseburger.
Floyd immediately contacted the fast food chain. The manager revealed that an employee had cut their hand before preparing the meal and offered a refund if Floyd returned to the store. “He was so nonchalant at this point and I was livid,” Floyd said.
Burger King closed the location for cleaning and employee retraining. Despite this, Floyd remains “distraught” over the incident.
