Curtis and Lewis starred together in the sitcom “Anything But Love” from 1989 to 1992. Curtis recalled first noticing Lewis on a billboard and insisting he be cast in the show. His audition, marked by a humorous mispronunciation of “Bundt cake,” showcased his charm and led to changes in the pilot to highlight their on-screen chemistry.
Curtis also revealed that Lewis played a crucial role in her sobriety journey. Celebrating 25 years of sobriety this month, Curtis credited Lewis with helping her overcome opioid addiction.
