“After 40 years on ‘Wheel of Fortune,’ Pat Sajak hints it might be time to say goodbye. Sajak, 75, shared, ‘In most television shows by this time, you would have said, ‘That’s probably enough,’ but this show will not die.’

Since 1981, Sajak and Vanna White, 65, have been the faces of the series. Sajak mused about the future, saying, ‘It appears I may go before the show.’ Reflecting on his time, he expressed gratitude, saying, ‘It’s an honor to have been in people’s living rooms for that long.’

However, he added, ‘We’re getting near the end. It’s been a long [time]. We’re not gonna do this for another 40 years. The end is near.’

Sajak marked his 40th hosting anniversary with a tribute from his daughter, Maggie. The only time he stepped away from the show was for surgery, allowing White to take the reins temporarily.”
