Beth’s whirlwind romance with Chris led to a quick engagement during their Hawaiian vacation. Although Beth had reservations, she went along with the hasty plan. Chris’s family took over the wedding arrangements, including the odd tradition of walking down the aisle blindfolded.

On the wedding day, Beth followed the unusual request and, when she finally opened her eyes, was shocked to see Chris and a woman in white—Julia, Chris’s first wife—standing behind him. Julia also introduced a little boy, Eli, Chris’s son with autism, whom Chris had previously abandoned.
