Valerie Bertinelli, 63, recently announced on Instagram that she has a new boyfriend, following her divorce two years ago. She shared a selfie with lyrics from Taylor Swift’s “So High School,” which hints at her happiness: “I’ll drink what you think and I’m high from smokin’ your jokes all damn night.”
Bertinelli’s new partner is Mike Goodnough, also known as the Hoarse Whisperer. Earlier this month, she hinted at her new romance, saying, “I’ve met someone… I feel so fortunate to have met him.” Goodnough confirmed their relationship, humorously recalling his inquiry to Bertinelli about the dating rumors: “It’s true,” she replied. “Yes, I am. You are my partner in life.”
Reflecting on her past, Bertinelli spoke about her late ex-husband, Eddie Van Halen, in her recent cookbook, Indulge: “Ed and I never stopped loving each other, even though we got divorced.” She reminisced, “Who knows, if not for cancer, we might have had a second wind.”
