Comedian Tony Knight tragically passed away at the Rock & Cars festival in Lavaur when a large tree limb fell on him. His family member shared with Fox News Digital that Tony, aged 54, was in excellent health and loved worldwide for his charm, humor, and passion.
French authorities are investigating the incident, which injured others at the event. Tony’s sudden death deeply saddened fans, who mourned on social media. “It’s important to remember how much happiness and laughter his comedy brought to so many people,” one wrote. Another expressed, “May your love rest peacefully.”
Tony’s partner, Hayley Wright, set up a GoFundMe to help with funeral costs, raising over $8,000 of its $20,000 goal. Known for his comedy and as a “dog listener,” Tony was preparing for a UK tour and teaching canine communication worldwide. He had acted in films and lived with Hayley on her family farm in Beaufort, despite being based in Australia.
Hayley plans to scatter Tony’s ashes in France, where he tragically lost his life doing what he loved—bringing laughter to others.
