Danielle Colby, star of American Pickers, faced a heartbreaking loss shortly after her dream wedding to Jeremy Scheuch. Just days after their fairy-tale ceremony in Puerto Rico, Colby shared that her father-in-law, “Papa John,” had passed away.

In a poignant social media post, Danielle described Papa John as a deeply caring man who spent his life helping vulnerable children. She recalled his kindness and the joy he brought into their lives, including transforming an airplane hangar into the North Pole for a young girl with cancer. Danielle wrote, “You loved and cared so much all the time,” and expressed how his absence made their wedding bittersweet.

Jeremy Scheuch also honored his father with a childhood photo and a touching tribute, writing, “My dad. John Scheuch. From June 28, 1953, to February 19, 2024. Rest in peace, dad. You were the best dad I could have asked for.” He added, “I’m glad I have the best wife by my side through it all.”

Danielle, who married Jeremy after six years together, supported him through this difficult time, saying, “My heart hurts so much for you and your family right now.”
