Vanna White shared a heartfelt farewell message to Pat Sajak on the eve of his final “Wheel of Fortune” episode. Airing on Thursday night, White, 67, reflected on their 41 years together: “I can’t believe that tomorrow is our last show together,” she said. “Eight thousand episodes went by like that.”
White and Sajak began hosting the show together in 1982, becoming one of TV’s most iconic duos. White reminisced about their journey, saying, “What an incredible and unforgettable journey we’ve had. And I’ve enjoyed every minute of it with you.” She added emotionally, “You’re like a brother to me, and I consider you a true lifelong friend, who I will always adore. I love you, Pat.”
Following the message, White and Sajak shared a hug on stage. While Sajak retires, White will continue on the show through the 2025-2026 season. “I will certainly miss Pat Sajak,” White said, “but I can’t wait to see what Ryan Seacrest brings to the show!”
