Stacy and Babajide from Lagos, Nigeria, were thrilled to learn they were expecting twins, but their joy turned to astonishment during delivery. Daniel and David Omirin, born just minutes apart, looked nothing alike. Daniel took after his older sister with dark skin and curly hair, while David was born with fair skin and golden curls, a result of oculocutaneous albinism.

Stacy recalled the moment: “The second baby has golden hair. I thought, how can this be possible?” Babajide, equally amazed, lovingly nicknamed David “Mr. Golden.”

Despite initial concerns about David’s health due to albinism, the twins have thrived. Stacy, a clothing designer, has embraced their uniqueness and hopes to raise awareness about their condition.

Their story has attracted attention and modeling offers, but Stacy remains focused on their upbringing. “People often wanna know how and what’s happening,” she noted, but the family has handled curiosity with grace.

As they grow, Daniel’s outgoing nature contrasts with David’s observant demeanor, but both boys are cherished equally by their parents, who marvel at their differences just like everyone else.
