A tragic incident shook a Wisconsin farm, claiming the life of 29-year-old farmer Michael Biadasz and 16 cattle. The cause? A lethal combination of gases trapped in a manure holding tank. “The family is devastated, absolutely devastated,” shared Portage County Coroner Scott Rifleman.

Unusual weather conditions led to the formation of a deadly air dome, poisoning both Michael and the livestock. “The tank was prepped to be pumped, warm upper air temperatures trapped the gases in a dome of air,” explained Bob Biadasz, Michael’s father and co-owner of Biadasz Farms.
