The grieving parents of Aurora Masters, a five-year-old girl, honored her memory by donating her organs after a tragic accident. Aurora passed away on May 13, following a playground mishap just days earlier. Her parents, Tom and Krystal Masters, made the tough choice to turn off life support after doctors confirmed her fatal brain damage.
Aurora’s organs were donated to Donor Alliance, bringing solace to her parents. Krystal expressed, “We know that Aurora’s heart is beating somewhere.” Describing Aurora’s act of kindness, Krystal said, “I am proud of my daughter.” The family’s GoFundMe campaign raised over $30,000, showcasing immense support.
The accident occurred when Aurora got caught in the ropes of a swing while playing in her garden. Despite the tragedy, the family finds comfort in each other’s support. Tom reflected on Aurora’s impact, saying, “She literally just had fun and went around and brought her light with her and gave it away for free.” Krystal hopes Aurora’s story inspires parents to cherish every moment with their children.
