In a heartbreaking incident in Oklahoma City, twin toddlers Locklyn and Loreli, aged 18 months, drowned in their family pool. Their great-grandmother, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, accidentally left the back door open, leading to the tragedy.
Jenny Callazzo, the children’s mother, discovered them unconscious in the pool one Thursday morning. Despite swift rescue efforts, the twins were pronounced dead two hours later. According to the Daily Mail, “Jenny Callazzo, a 37-year-old stay-at-home mom,” was devastated by the loss.
Jenny, her husband Sonny, and their six children lived in a $565,000 home with the great-grandmother. A relative explained that “the great-grandmother’s oversight” allowed the twins to escape unnoticed, culminating in this tragic event.
